COV Increment

BACnet Browser CC-ONYX COV Increment tab

The COV Increment tab sets the change-of-value (COV) increment for the analog objects of the device. The COV increment is the smallest change in an object present value that triggers a COV notification to subscribed clients. A larger increment reduces network traffic but reports fewer intermediate values. A smaller increment reports finer changes at the cost of more notifications.

The list shows every analog object with its current COV increment. Select a row to edit its value in the COV Increment field at the bottom.

Object list​

COV IncrementCurrent COV increment of the object.

COV Increment​

Select a row in the list, then enter the value in the COV Increment field to change the COV increment of that object.

Click Read to read the COV increment of every object from the device and refresh the values shown.

Click Write to write the modified COV increments to the device. Only the objects whose value was changed are written.
