Software Algorithm

The dimming controller allows 0-10 V ballasts control.

Settings

The dimming controller settings are done using the Config.bin file available from the BACnet network. This BACnet file is changed with the BACnet Browser software.

Power Limit

The Power Limit caps the maximum level of the 0-10V output. The dimming controller compares every output command against the Power Limit and, when the command is higher, it reduces the output to the Power Limit value. A Power Limit of 100% leaves the output unrestricted, and a Power Limit of 0% forces the output off.

The Power Limit is expressed in percent and applies to all commands. It can be adjusted at run time through the POWER LIMIT object or with the Set Power Limit button commands.
