This section shows different screens on the display and their functionalities.

Version

After the thermostat is being powered up, it displays the name of the firmware and the current software version number for a period of 3 seconds. Then the display changes to the room temperature.

Room temperature

This is the default screen being displayed by the thermostat. To the left a bar graph shows heating demand in 5 x 20% steps.

If the round knob is being rotated, the display goes to the room temperature setpoint.

The display can be configured to display in °F or °C by installing a jumper (supplied) on JP4 on the back of the thermostat.

When the temperature falls below 10° Celsius, the screen displays "LOW". When the temperature is over 60° Celsius, the screen displays "HIGH". If the temperature falls under around -5° Celsius, the temperature sensor is considered as disconnected and the screen displays dashes "- - -". If the temperature goes over around 70° Celsius, the temperature sensor is considered as shorted and the screen displays dashes. "- - -".

Room setpoint

This screen is displayed while changing the room temperature setpoint. The 2 arrows indicate we are changing the setpoint. Also, the temperature setpoint is blinking once a second to let you know you are changing the setpoint and not seeing the temperature reading.

When the round knob is not moving for 5 seconds, the display goes back to the room temperature.
